CHAUNTEA

Chauntea is also known as The Great Mother, the Grain Goddess, the Golden Goddess, and She Who Shapes All.

Chauntea is not often seen by mortals, however her hand is seen in all growing things. She is not given to spectacle and fanfare. She is popular with gardeners, farmers and the common folk of the Kingdoms. Because of her most of the Kingdoms is fruitful.

She is wise and quiet and not given to hasty action. She has a cordial contest with Tempus and a friendly rivalry with Gond. She has been lovers with Lathander on and off again over the centuries.

Chauntea has a special relationship with the Moonshae Isles where part of her primal essence is known as the Earth Mother.

Chauntea's faith is one of nuture and growth. Agricultural sayings and farming parables dot her teachings. Growing and reaping, the eternal cycle, is the common thread in Chauntea's faith.

Her allies include Lathander, Mielikki and Selune. Her foes are Talos and Malar.
