CYRIC

Cyric is also known as the Dark Sun, the Prince of Lies, the Prince of Madness, the Mad God and Lord of the Three Crowns.

Cyric is one of the youngest of all the gods. At one time a mortal human, Cyric was raised to the position of god for his part in returning the Tablets of Fate to Ao. Upon ascension, he took on the powers of three evil gods, (Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul) destroyed in the Time of Troubles, making Cyric potentially one of the most powerful gods in the realm.

The Dark Sun's priests wear black and purple robes. Silver bands, their enslavement to Cyric, are worn on their wrists.

Cyric's most dangerous enemy is Mystra, who has sworn his destruction. Cyric lost the portfolio of death to his arch rival from his mortal life, Kelemvor, the mortal lover of Mystra.

Cyric's faith is one of control by any means necessary. Force and deception are used in equal measure to spread his word.

Cyric has no allies and his foes are Mystra, Kelemvor, Oghma, Mask, Tyr, Torm and many others.
