GOND

Gond is also known as The Wonderbringer, the Lord of all Smiths, the Inspiration Divine and the Holy Maker of all Things.

The God of Craft is worshiped by those who work as inventors, engineers, weaponmakers, tinkers, and craftsmen by trade. It is said that the followers of Gond strive to prove that artifact is better than magic, given the right smith and the proper tools and materials.

Rumour says that during the Time of Troubles, Gond took the avatar of a gnome. He was found washed ashore the beaches of Lantan, where his true nature was soon discovered. Because of the devotion and reverence showed to him by the Lantanese, Gond gave them the secret of smoke powder. This is also rumored to be the reason Gond is gaining acceptance as a deity among the gnomish communities.

Gond's priests wear saffron vestments with a crimson sash over one shoulder. Various small tools and materials hang from the sash, such as lock-picking sets and decorative bits of metal. They are also known to have great aptitude for mechanical devices of all kinds. Gond will accept gnomes as his priests as well as humans.

Gond's allies are Lathander, Oghma and Tempus. His foe is Talos.
