SELUNE

Selune is also known as Our Lady of Silver, the Moonmaiden and the Night White Lady.

As varied as the phases of the moon, so are her followers and places of worship. It is said in the realms that, "Anywhere the full moon shines is the place for Selune." Selune's temperment is one of acceptance and tolerance over all other principles. Her more common followers include navigators, seamen, women, female spellcasters, good aligned lycantrhropes, the lost, the questing, and those who work honestly at night.

Selunes's eternal enemy is Shar, Mistress of the Night, and the enmity between Shar and Selune often carries into the priesthoods to the point that open battle has occurred when followers of each faith meet.

Our Lady of Silver seeks to guard against those who would use the dark as a means to their evil ends.

The church of Selune sponsors two special orders:

• The Swords of the Lady - Priests only.
• The Oracles of the Moon - Females only.

Selunes allies are Mystra, Sune, Tymora, Chauntea and Lathander. Her foes are Shar and Mask.
