TYMORA

Tymora is also known as Lady Luck, the Lady Who Smiles, Our Smiling Lady, Tyche's fair haired daughter and Beshaba's sister.

Despite being known as the daughter of Tyche, this is not technically true. Tymora is half of the deity that was known as Tyche, with Beshaba being the other half. Tymora inherited Tyche's grace and kindness.

Tymora's faith is one of the most common in the Kingdoms, since it caters to the mostly to the moderately wealthy and those who live by thier wits - adventurers. Tymora is fickle, but playful and never vengeful of malicious. She likes a good joke and has been known to play practical jokes on straight-laced deities like Tyr and Helm.

She likes parties and festive occassions and has been said to be seen spotted at gaming tables around the kingdoms during one holiday or another.

Tymora's faith teaches that one should be bold, for to dare is to live. The battle cry of the followers of Tymora is "Fortune favours the bold."

The church of Tymora sponsors a specialist order of priests known as the Fellows of Free Fate. The concentrate their efforts against Beshaba.

Her allies are Lathander and Selune. Her foe is Beshaba.
