ARMONIUS VOS'RAPIER - KNIGHT OF HOLY JUDGEMENT

Hero PIC My name is Armonius Vos'Rapier, I was born the 8th day in the month of Highsun, nestled in a quaint little town south of Arabel. Kalathar and Kagee Vos'Rapier both proud and honorable servants of Lord Helm were my teachers and parents till the ripe age of 18. My father was a brave Knight, who stubborn in his old age was probably the best mentor a son could have. He instilled some traits in me that are very rare even in today's society we live in, his teachings were of honor, loyalty, integrity and discipline above all else. *(just to name a few)* He used a stern and sometimes painful method of instruction to drill his knowledge into me. *(being whapped upside the head with the flatblade of a bastard-sword tends to grab your attention a little)* Now my mother a Priestess of Helm and with out a doubt the sweetest Lady you could ever want to meet had a total different philosophy on her teachings, she taught me etiquette and religious order within the Lands. I grew very attached to the church ways of life for it offered me a goal and purpose in life, I dreamed of one day being honorable and distinguished as my father and mother were. Many years passed and my skills and knowledge grew bigger than life. I was 18 years old and felt it was time I proved myself and continued the tradition of the Vos'Rapier name.

I grabbed the necessary equipment and supplies and headed off towards WaterDeep. I roamed the city for days meeting people here and there but did not find my calling until I met a Large but well mannered gentlemen by the name of Dreymor, we hit it off immediately, he spoke of things I wished to devote my life to defending and upholding. He enhanced my knowledge on the god of Justice, Lord Tyr. He went over the Dogma code of what is expected of you as a follower of Lord Tyr. All this appealed to me greatly and felt myself being drawn closer and closer to devoting myself. We talked for days on this and I felt myself changing and eventually I told Dreymor "Please show me where Lord Tyr's temple is so I can devote my life to defending and protecting the ideals and wishes of Lord Tyr." With a rather pleased look he smiled and immediately brought me to his temple. We didn't waste any time at all getting to the Temple of Tyr, I walked in and was awe stricken by the beauty and authenticity this Temple adorned. I noticed the High-Priest by the altar, I stepped up there and kneeled before him and said "I vow my allegiance to defending Lord Tyr's beliefs and ideals, I wish to uphold justice, honor, integrity and vigilance in your name Lord." With out a tad bit of warning the Temple lit up and blinded me with a magnificent glow. When I regained my sight I saw before me a huge-human man wearing the most intricate platemail armor I have ever seen, this man drew his sword and said "Armonius your soul is as pure as I am, I bestow upon you today a great honor and responsibility. I Tyr, God of Justice in the lands Knight you a Paladin in my service *(his sword touched me lightly on my left and right shoulder, I took the blade in my hands and kissed it and spoke a vow of servitude and accepted my Paladin-hood with pride and honor.)* As he vanished into thin air I heard a bellowing voice say "be well young paladin, I shall speak with you in your prayers, be forever Vigilant my son." The High-Priest looked at me and said "you are truly blessed Armonius, I am here for you always and may Tyr bless you child on your new found blessing." I stood up and thanked brother Dreymor and the High-Priest for all there help and made my way out of the Temple with a new found ambition and aura about me. I didn't know the area or people of this city well so I set off meeting people and learning the laws of this magnificent city. Days turned into weeks, then weeks turned into months and I knew almost all of the fine citizens of Water Deep, we would on occasion go hunting evil ogres or wolverines within the Tethir forest and I got to be fairly decent with my weapons and skills in general. With time and dedication Lord Tyr would promote me as he saw fit when I had learned a sufficient amount of my studies and I grew to be more and more powerful with my religion. I have fought off many evils that have invaded this city and defended it to my death on a few occasions. I relied upon my faith to protect me from such evils and it did just that, I am here to tell the story so it has to be true. Well this concludes my short but eventful life up to now and hope to have many stories to come in the future if Lord Tyr sees fit to deem me worthy.
